Zhuhai is a modern and pleasant city located at the southern coast of the Guangdong Province. Additionally, it is situated within the Pearl River Delta just north of Macau and only a short ferry ride away across the estuary from Hong Kong. It is also known as a garden city in China, as it offers an excellent quality of life with clear blue seas, many outlying islands, some for which are connected by bridges to the mainland and luxurious subtropical vegetation. The city is a major tourist destination both for international travelers as well as an even bigger number of Chinese holiday makers. For a thoroughly enjoyable stay book one of the five star hotels Zhuhai you will find to be a relaxing and interesting destination and the local people will welcome you warmly.

Why do so many travelers come to Zhuhai for their holiday? The city's location at the coast of the South China Sea means that its climate is very mild and dry during winter with average highs in January of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. During summer the city can be hot and humid as it is within the reach of the East Asian Monsoon with average highs reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the city does not experience the extreme high temperatures that some of the cities in central south China experience and it is therefore always a pleasant place to stay.

Zhuhai's location within the Pearl River delta means that the city is surrounded by the clear waters of the South China Sea. Many of the outlying islands are being developed as relaxing tourist locations and can be accessed via modern bridges. They include islands with fantastic beaches, green subtropical forest and excellent water sports facilities. Additionally, the city itself has many interesting sights one can visit. The New Yuan Ming Palace is a generous park featuring buildings, which are partial reconstructions of the Old Summer Palace in Beijing, which was destroyed in 1860 by French and British Troops during the Second Opium War. The large park also includes beautifully landscaped gardens and a big lake.

Zhuhai is also unique in its position between Macau and Hong Kong making it an ideal base to visit both cities. The Chinese Government established a Special Economic Zone here to encourage trade between the mainland and Macau. Today the city still functions as a major trade window with respect to Macau and is connected to the latter via the newly constructed Lotus Bridge. A further very ambitious bridge project is currently being undertaken to also link Hong Kong to Zhuhai and Macau. Currently, there is a well established passenger ferry system linking Zhuhai's port Jiuzhou Port and Hong Kong called the Chu Kong Passenger Transport Ferry. There is also a recently established passenger ferry operating between Jiuzhou Port and Hong Kong International Airport making it easier for passengers arriving by air to travel to their destinations in Zhuhai.

The city is also an important destination for business travelers. Due to its status as a Special Economic Zone it has attracted considerable foreign investment. Therefore, many business travelers frequent the excellent five star hotels Zhuhai has to offer. As one can expect of five star hotels all of them will feature comfortable and modern rooms with internet access, 24-hour open hotel reception, helpful English speaking staff and excellent food and drink in the hotel restaurant and bars. You can be assured that during your stay in one of the five star hotels Zhuhai and the modern China will show itself at its best.

Finally, the city will be an excellent base to explore Hong Kong and Macau as well as mainland China whilst allowing visitors to retreat to a relaxed and unpolluted location at the end of each day. Additional interesting locations close by in mainland China include Shenzen, Guanghou and Jiangmen.

Whether you travel to Zhuhai for pleasure or on business you can be assured of a relaxing and comfortable stay. Let yourself enjoy the clear blue waters of the South China Sea and the many beaches and water sports facilities on the outlying islands. This city will be an excellent base for exploring, relaxing or working in the south of China.
